The Isle on Steam

Evrima is not the default install. Unless you opt in, Steam gives you the older Legacy build.

1. Install The Isle, then right click it in your Steam library and open Properties.
2. Open the Betas tab. Newer Steam clients may call it Game Versions & Betas.
3. In the dropdown, choose evrima, shown as EVRIMA Public Branch. No code is needed.
4. Let the game update. If the branch or the download does not appear, restart Steam.

The game server is not open yet, so it will not appear in the browser. These are the steps for when it does.

1. From the main menu, choose Play to open the server browser.
2. Set Session Filter to Unofficial.
3. Type or paste the exact name above into Filter By Name. Lookalike servers copy popular names.
4. Click Refresh, select the server, then click Connect.
5. If the server is full, keep it selected, click Refresh again, and click Connect when a slot opens.

Cannot find it? The usual cause is a game still on Legacy, which shows a different server list. Go back to step 1.

Support tickets and ban appeals will run through Discord.

The companion app is not released yet, so there is nothing to install today. It handles sign-in and proximity voice, and it will be linked from this page when it is released.
